MGM has ruined my Weekends by ruining Friday nights. Don’t take Stargate Atlantis away!!!!
Atlantis is what my wife and I look forward to on Friday nights, it’s a great kick-off for the weekend!
We relax with the group of Atlantis and are better for that; We had to except SG 1 leaving, but with Colonel Carter going to Atlantis as well as some of the others visiting - it helped to let us down easily.

I don’t ‘get’ Sancturary, but my wife loves it. We both DON’T LIKE ‘ BattleStar Galactica It is too different from the orginial that we watched in the 80’s.

You give us something terrific then pull it from us! My wife and I join the ranks of having less reason to watch Sci-Fi so MGM is damaging Sci-Fi and the viewers.

I now have nothing to look forward to on Friday night T.V., no unwinding in sight!!!!!
Now that I won’t be relaxing. . . my wife won’t like me either!!!!

I’m having a fit now that SMALLVILLE is in reruns and now with Atlantis going away. . . I am NOT a happy camper!!!!!!! My wife will be avoiding my with my GRUMPY moods on Fridays now without Atlantis to unwind with!!! and my son sometimes sits with me ( that is very unusual) to watch the show. It helps with ‘father and son’ time.

This reminds me of the car makers!!!
They finally hit on a good car style, . . . then once they are popular the model gets pulled. The makers stop making that style and re-design with a less likable style. Let’s keep the model that works for the people!!!!!
Forget the crappy substitutes that don’t ‘hold a candle’ to the predocessor!!!!!

Think!!! There are many many more quiet voices out there that are disappointed with MGM’s decesssion to cancel Stargate Atlantis - MGM is angering alot of people!!!!!!!

LIFE itself is depressing,,, now I won’t have Atlanis to help me. I’ll just be depressed!!!!!!! You have taken away that last little bit of light. Sooooooo depressing. Now my wife will be depressed too!!!!! with mr. grumpy!!!

Hi,
I started the last penny campaign on sci-fi boards about 2 days after learning about the cancellation –it has spread to live journal and is posted a few more places like gateworld and a postcard pledged count on youchoose.com

I am in the process of making a website, to Save SGA, but now I see this and it’s far better than what I have made (could ever make) w/ wix.com. Is there anyway we could combine forces? I keep getting people telling me I need to make a live journal page, but I haven’t had the time –plus, I think a website like this should be primary. There is already a save atlantis (well, fight-for-atlantis) board there.

I made several types of postcards w/ a penny design on them (even a UK version.) You can view most by download on sci-fi thread listed below. And have about 3 different wordings for postcards that have been suggested, and that I’ve tweaked a bit — ranging from boycotting to asking nicely (this last choice due to some thinking the boycott was too harsh, and others thinking it’s too difficult to get everyone behind that message.

My plan was to try to hit MGM with a tidal wave of postcards as close to the series finale as possible. If it would be possible that the postcard (and package — I wanted them to sign for each package — costs 2.80, but learned it wouldn’t work the way I had hoped — still think a smaller place than MGM involved w/ the decision could be overwhelmed by such a thing and feel compelled to listen.)

Anyhow, it’s pretty late and I need to get some sleep. I haven’t had the chance to look at much on your site yet, but do you have a way to create a mailing list? (email,that is) Some
people have suggested that if we send out reminders and updates we’ll get more participants.

Stargate Atlantis is one of the only reasons I watch the Sci-Fi channel. It’s also one of the only shows that I watch when it airs instead of sending it to TIVO. The show is one of the most interesting series that is being run right now. Canceling this and ending Battlestar Gallactica will give me little reason to bother with the Sci-Fi channel at all.

I have been a steady supporter of getting the Sci-Fi channel on to our cable provider and had to fight to keep it there. If you are going to get rid of all the interesting science fiction what was the reason for starting up the channel in the first place?

I would suggest you stop making those mediocre and ofttimes laughably bad made for tv movies and spend that budget on keeping Stargate Atlantis running for a few more seasons.

Please do not go forward with this cancelation. You will find that viewers will flock to some other network show and not bother to return to what will be left of the next season without Stargate.

Stargate Atlantis was at the peak of it television ratings and why do you MGM Cancel

it it has been a part of my life for 5 years it sohuld be able to come back for at leat 3-4 more years.

even tho i live in Canada and we are a year behind on the Space Imagination Station

Doing a Movie wont help us fans
